The Robert C. Howe Papers consists of photographs, charts, and research notes. The material is divided into four core sample sites of varying sediment layers. The research notes are in reference to a deep sea drilling project, which consists of an analysis of rock types, ground mass, sediment layer structure, and rock composition. Each hand written analysis and graphic chart is preceded by a corresponding core sample photograph.
