Scope and Contents

The Gertrude Ewing Papers consists of personal papers. The personal papers series contains personal correspondence, notes, diplomas, and memorabilia collected from various social clubs and events including greek life and academic clubs. The majority of the correspondence contains subject matter pertaining to christmas wishes, thank you cards, and friends and family writing to catch up.

Mrs. Norman was a student and close personal friend of Gertrude Ewing. Ewing was a professor of Latin at Indiana State and active in Latin education on a national level. She recruited Mrs. Norman to Indiana State.
