Stanley Petrulis Sheet Music

Stanley Petrulis Sheet Music consists of printed sheet music. In Box 1 the sheet music is alphabetically arranged by composer A-N, and contains a folder with the list of all the music that is found in the collection. In Box 2 there is sheet music arranged alphabetically by composer from P-Z. There are also a number of booklets containing many different songs pieces according to the same theme. In Box 3 there is a number of oversized piano sheet music and “sacred songs.”

Biographical or Historical Information

Stanley Petrulis was a professor at Indiana State from 1969-1992. He received his Bachelor of Music degree with the PerformerÍs Certificate from the Eastman School of Music, his Master of Music degree from Catholic University of America, and his Doctor of Music degree from Indiana University. Before entering into full-time teaching, he played professionally in the United States Air force Band and Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra, and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. While teaching at ISU, he was principal bassoonist with the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra, and a member of the ISU Faculty Woodwind Quintet.
