The Lawrence E. Eberly Papers consist of handwritten notes, letters, books, cards, stamps, magazines, and maps. These materials are divided into the following series: class notes, personal papers, programs, publications, West Jordan Junior High School material, and holiday cards.
The class notes series consists of a number of handwritten notes from the subjects of: organic chemistry, planetary study, foreign language, and zoology.
Programs consist of booklets and pamphlets from a number of Indiana State Teachers College events. These events are divided up amongst a number of religious gatherings sponsored by Indiana State, which mainly took place in December between 1943 to 1946.
The West Jordon Junior High School series consists of a number of annual reports, music sheets, and various graded homework assignments. Personal papers consists of a number of miscellaneous materials, which includes: music sheets, maps, stamps, business cards, magazine clippings, event pamphlets, and a music catalog. The holiday card series also contains a number of Easter and Christmas cards sent and received by Lawrence E. Eberly.
Publications consist of a number of books and magazine articles concerning music or Lawrence E. Eberly. This series contains a bible, a book of common prayer, and an article entitled "America's Oldest Debt: Justice for the Indians", by Joseph N. Bell. The collection also includes a booklet entitled "History of Music", by Dr. Lawrence E. Eberly.
