The John A. Crittenden Papers consists of surveys, questionnaires, and audiotapes. The information contained in this collection is arranged according in two ways, first on the type of material and secondly on the specific research conducted. The material separates the tapes of John Crittenden’s lectures during 1967, while the specific research focuses on the study of Watergate, student testing center and research on the refusal of filling out surveys. This research encompasses surveys, final results to the research as well as written notes by John Crittenden on the technical side of the research.

Abstract

John Crittenden a former political science professor at Indiana State University comprised a number of surveys including Watergate in 1974, the use of the student testing center and a study of why individuals refuse to fill surveys out. This collection also contains a number of recordings of John Crittenden spoke on in 1967 entitled “Speak Out.”
