J. Hill Harmon Memoirs
Scope and Contents
The J. Hill Hamon Memoirs consists of Hamon's memories of life in Terre Haute and Indiana State University between 1961-1968. The memoirs are divided by subject regarding various aspects of personal and professional life in Terre Haute . Topics of note include observations of Terre Haute and the surrounding area of Indiana, reflections on the operation and leadership of the Department of Life Sciences, the change from being Indiana State College to Indiana State University, the development of the first Ph.D. program, sports, leisure activities, memorable faculty colleagues and students, teaching, and Hamon's family.
