The collection of videotapes brings together video records mostly created by and about Indiana State University.  The tapes cover a fair number of the speakers brought to campus through the Speaker Series.  The remaining tapes are either of a promotional or reporting nature.

  • Conditions Governing Access

Materials are open for research use with advance notice to the archivist.

  • Technical Access Requirements

Playback equipment for some formats is not immediately available.  Requests to view materials may require patron to pay for converting video to more accessible format.

  • Custodial History

Only a few of the videotapes followed archival organization principles by being organized by their creator.  Many more were managed on an individual basis.  The videos were brought together as one collection by Archives staff to better facilitate access to the items.
