The Staff Council Records consists of council files that contain an array of materials kept between the years of 1956 to 2007. These files include documents concerning staff finances, general organizational material, a series of publications and handbooks, support staff events, and two series consisting of files from staff committees and councils. These files consist of the yearly functions of the Staff Council and how it functioned within Indiana State University. A majority of the files consists of meeting minutes from the Staff Council itself as well as the multiple committees and councils that were operating within the staff council. A significant amount of the Staff Council Records also consists of a series of handbooks published by Indiana State University and a number of its departments.
