    The Edison Montgomery Report consists of a 32-page document written by Dr. Montgomery in 1966 on the request from Indiana State President Alan Rankin. This document is an in depth analysis of the Medical Education department and what is needed to develop an M.D. program at Indiana State, including estimated costs of new facilities, equipment and land and the way in which Indiana State would go about acquiring each of these, as well as providing the argument to why it is that the program is needed.
