Betty Stombaugh Molter Papers
Scope and Contents
The Betty Stombaugh Molter Papers consists of programs, newspaper clippings, correspondence, directories, sorority records, and a calendar. The Betty Stombaugh Molter collection is arranged in three series, programs, news clippings and college life. The programs contain events that took place from 1941 through 1945. The events are the social activities that occurred during the time that Betty Stombaugh Molter attended Indiana State. These social events included homecoming, glee club presentations, Homecoming and Crystal Ball dances as well as banquets and shows at Indiana State by the Sycamore players. The news clippings consisted of colligate life at Indiana State while Betty Stombaugh Molter attended Indiana State. These clippings covered the individual basketball games, as well as the sorority squeal and the inter-sorority game between Psi Theta and Epsilon Delts. The college life series consists of the information that is relevant to a student in the mid-1940. This information includes correspondence to Ms Stombaugh Molter, also this collection includes her admittance card into events at Indiana State, as well as general room information including the room assignment and the cards handed out for Homecoming Queen.
