Scope and Contents
The James Mullican Papers consists of correspondence, photographs, newspaper clippings, conference programs, and pamphlets. The papers are arranged in 10 separate folders by year from 1974, 1981-1989. The correspondence are hand written and typed notes and memos between Mullican and his colleagues regarding the Annual Conference on Teaching Composition: The Reading-Writing Connection. The news clippings are typically based on the speaker of the given year. The programs and the pamphlets show the schedule of the events, who is speaking at the event and when, and the registration form for the event.
