The College of Arts and Sciences records consists of faculty and department files that highlight educational excellence and distinguished professor nominations and awards, faculty activity reports, committee and meeting reports and minutes, as well as an array of general department files that were kept by the different departments within the College of Arts and Sciences. There are also correspondence records from faculty members to other faculty members as well as correspondences between departments. Faculty staffing positions and salary recommendations may also be found within this collection. There are records concerning teaching schedules and semester sessions and student records. Personal files from department chairs, deans, and councils are also among the general faculty files in this collection. Finally, there are records containing communication concerning maintainence, construction, renovation and other related building issues on campus.
